Coordinate and manage scheduling for Gastroenterology, General Surgery, and Family Medicine providers for colonoscopies and EGDs. Collaborate with physicians and leadership to optimize schedules while ensuring patient safety and family-centered care.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in customer service, Microsoft Office, and procedure scheduling or referrals. Experience with EPIC in a clinic setting and post-high school secretarial training are preferred.
Summary
Responsible for coordinating and managing scheduling for Gastroenterology, General Surgery, and Family Medicine providers performing screening colonoscopies and EGDs.
Collaborates closely with physicians and departmental leadership to maintain efficient, thorough, and full optimized schedules.
Ensures adherence to patient safety standards and supports implementation of safety protocols.
Demonstrated a commitment to Family-Centered Care by fostering positive interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Schedule
Part-time | 40 hours per two weeks | Remote
On-site training required
Weekdays, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, varied schedule
Pay and Benefits
Starting pay begins at $18.40 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $18.40-$27.61 per hour.
