The Medical Assistant assists physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations, vital signs, and clinical procedures. They are also responsible for managing medical supplies, processing lab specimens, and handling patient-related clerical documentation.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold a valid certification. Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to perform basic nursing care tasks are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses. Prepares examination rooms. Prepares patients for examinations. Processes charts. Assists Office Professionals with clerical duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of an accredited (MA) Medical Assist program. Graduate of accredited Nursing Assistant Program preferred.
Completion of competency skills check list prior to performing tasks independently.
Certification from an Accredited CMA program is required.
