You will architect, develop, and maintain firmware for connected sensor systems while managing the full hardware stack from prototype to production. Additionally, you will debug complex issues across electronics, firmware, and manufacturing test systems while mentoring other engineers.
The role requires 7+ years of experience in embedded systems with strong proficiency in C/C++ on resource-constrained devices. Candidates must be comfortable with bare metal/RTOS development, hardware debugging tools, and taking products through to high-volume production.
We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to help own the firmware and embedded systems at the heart of Carv.
This is a firmware-leaning role for someone who is comfortable working across the full hardware stack. You should be strong at embedded software, but also confident reading schematics, bringing up boards, debugging electronics in the lab, and working with production test systems.
You do not need to be a pure PCB layout specialist. You do need to be the kind of engineer who can debug issues across electronics and firmware.
You’ll work on next-generation sensor development, production firmware, automated test equipment and internal diagnostic tools used by over 100,000 skiers globally.
