The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of facility support service projects from concept through to completion. They will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships while ensuring compliance with building codes and operational standards.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of project management experience specifically related to electrical and mechanical trades in construction or building modifications. A college or university degree in a related discipline is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software like AutoCAD.

About the role
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is centered on the idea that respect and understanding of human rights can be a positive force for change in the world. The Project Manager, Facilities will support our collective efforts to build a workplace culture that is inclusive, equitable, innovative, and focused on inspiring action.
Reporting to the Manager, Facility Operations, the Project Manager, Facilities will work closely with contractors and all members of the division. They will be the primary contact for all internal partner and client facility support service project activities and will be responsible for the planning, organization, coordination, and execution from concept through to project design, engineering, procurement, and closing.
The incumbent will be a strong and thoughtful communicator, critical thinker, innovator, and will bring a collaborative approach to their role.
