The Senior Materials Specialist manages inventory control, logistics operations, and warehouse workflows to ensure material accuracy. They are responsible for developing standard operating procedures and mentoring team members in receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse logistics or inventory control and a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred. Proficiency in ERP/MRP software, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of OSHA safety requirements are essential.

The Materials Specialist is responsible for inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring material accuracy through rigorous cycle counting and optimized warehouse workflows. This role’s purpose is to develop and improve the standard operating procedures for materials from receiving, to storage and production usage, through shipping. This position is considered the subject matter expert in those processes and will train and mentor team members, as well as coverage for absenteeism.
