Manage the pre-certification and prior authorization process for referrals to the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. Develop and maintain relationships with payers and internal teams to maximize conversion rates and minimize financial risk.
Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN/LPN and at least 2 years of direct experience in third-party reimbursement. Experience in physical rehabilitation settings and proficiency with Excel and databases are preferred.

Using discretion and independent judgment, the Payor Relations Specialist manages the pre-certification and prior authorization of referrals scheduled for admission to the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital.
