PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
· First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital, located in Battle Creek, Michigan, is a leading provider of inpatient behavioral health treatment. Serving adults age 18 and older, the team at our hospital offers care for individuals who are struggling with acute symptoms of mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. We also provide treatment for people who have developmental disabilities. Our services are designed to provide specialized support that meets the unique needs of specific populations. We have four separate units in which adults who have various concerns can receive individualized treatment.
