The Co-Occurring Therapist provides dual diagnosis services using stage-of-change interventions to reduce symptoms of mental health and substance abuse. Key duties include conducting integrated assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling.
Candidates must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science and a CADC certification. Proficiency in ASAM PPC-2R and DSM is required, along with the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
