Job description

We are currently seeking experienced, dependable Building Maintenance Technicians who are committed to providing exceptional service to our residents and maintaining our communities with professionalism, urgency, and pride. We are looking for individuals who don't wait to be told what to do, who take ownership of their work, and who understand that every completed repair contributes to a resident's quality of life.

If you're looking for a job where you can simply punch a clock, this position may not be the right fit. If you're looking for a company that values initiative, recognizes outstanding performance, and provides opportunities for growth, we'd love to meet you.

Position Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to maintenance service requests.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, locks, and general building systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce future repairs.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and communicate progress effectively.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance services as assigned.
  • Identify potential maintenance concerns before they become larger problems.
  • Deliver courteous, respectful, and professional customer service to every resident.
Qualifications

  • Previous apartment building maintenance or residential maintenance experience required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple service requests while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform the physical demands of the position.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
Our Culture

To this team, maintenance is more than fixing things. We are responsible for creating safe, clean, and comfortable homes for our residents. Every work order is an opportunity to build trust and demonstrate our commitment to excellence.

We value technicians who take initiative, communicate effectively, support their teammates, and take pride in doing the job right the first time. Accountability, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork are the foundation of our success.

Performance & Growth

Outstanding performance creates opportunity. Employees who consistently demonstrate reliability, quality workmanship, productivity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service are recognized with opportunities for increased responsibility, professional development, and compensation reviews.

We believe success is earned through consistent performance, not simply time on the job. Our goal is to invest in employees who are committed to growing with our company while helping us deliver exceptional service to our residents every day.

If you're ready to join a company that values hard work, accountability, and excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time
