Design and build automated test suites for backend APIs and frontend web applications to reduce manual testing load. Collaborate with developers to define test strategies, identify edge cases, and verify production releases.
Requires hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks and proficiency in Node/JS/TS. Candidates must be skilled in CI/CD tools and possess strong debugging and root-cause investigation abilities.
As a QA Engineer on our team, you'll test both backend API services and frontend web clients through a mix of automation and manual testing. You'll help us continue developing our CI/CD capabilities and pioneer strategies for reducing manual testing load. For us, "quality" means attention to detail, correctness, and strong error handling and recovery. You'll be embedded within a fully remote engineering team working on an e-commerce platform, working closely with developers to shape our testing strategy. We're open to candidates from mid-level through senior — the key trait we're looking for is someone who takes initiative to identify gaps and build solutions rather than waiting to be told what to test.
