The Cardiology Registrar is responsible for comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical examinations, and managing admissions and discharges. They provide pre and post-procedure care in the Cath lab and supervise junior medical staff while participating in MDT meetings.
Candidates must possess an MBBS, MRCPI or equivalent, and current Irish Medical Council registration with a valid ACLS certificate. A minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in Ireland and at least 1 year of experience at the Cardiology Registrar level are required.
