Description

This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, conducting minor repairs, and reporting maintenance needs to ensure a positive and secure experience for all customers and visitors.

Essential Functions

  1. Perform daily cleaning duties, such as sweeping, pressure washing, and using industrial floor scrubbers to remove debris, leaves, oil stains, and other trash from all levels of the parking deck, stairwells, and walkways. Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the parking deck and dispose of waste properly. Inspect and perform minor repairs on equipment, such as parking gates, pay stations, and lighting. Replace light bulbs as needed. Conduct minor repairs like touch-up painting and remove graffiti to maintain the deck's appearance. Wipe down and clean all signs, glass, and mirrors. Monitor and maintain the condition of parking equipment and signage. Identify and report safety issues, hazards, and building maintenance needs. Handle incidental seasonal tasks such as clearing walkways, raking leaves, or assisting with snow and ice removal.
  2. Set up and remove traffic cones, barricades, and other signage as needed, especially during high-traffic periods or special events. Assist with customer lockouts or stalled vehicles when possible and coordinate with appropriate personnel during emergencies or special events. Monitor and track levels of stock and supplies, such as cleaning agents and basic repair parts. 
  3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma/GED Certificate Preferred 

Work Experience

Six (6) months or more Experience in building and/or grounds maintenance. Required
