Deliver community-based physiotherapy assessments and design goal-focused rehabilitation programmes for clients under ACC contracts. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client independence and manage a sustainable caseload across Christchurch.
Must be a registered physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand, ideally with 3-5+ years of experience in rehabilitation or complex injury settings. Requires a full clean driver licence, own vehicle, and legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

We are growing our Christchurch community rehabilitation service and are looking for a Rehab Physiotherapist who wants autonomy, variety and the chance to help shape something meaningful in Ōtautahi.
This role would suit a physio with around 3-5+ years' experience who enjoys functional rehabilitation, community-based practice and working as part of an interdisciplinary team. This is not a standard clinic role. You will work with clients in their homes, communities and clinic settings across ACC rehabilitation contracts, including HCS and Training for Independence.
You will work closely with our employed Christchurch Occupational Therapist, and with the wider Better Days interdisciplinary team. Together, you will help deliver high-quality, client-centred rehabilitation and contribute to the ongoing development of our Christchurch service.
This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, clinically curious, organised and comfortable working independently in the community while still being connected to a supportive team.
As a Better Days Rehab Physiotherapist, your week could include:
You will have flexibility and autonomy, but you will not be working alone. You will be part of a connected team that values strong clinical reasoning, practical problem-solving and meaningful outcomes for clients.
We are looking for someone who:
Experience with ACC injury rehabilitation, HCS or Training for Independence contracts would be an advantage, but we are also interested in hearing from physiotherapists who have the right mindset, clinical reasoning and appetite to learn.
