The technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low-voltage security systems in commercial and industrial environments. This includes performing regular inspections and providing technical support to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience with video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check for federal property access are required.

Job Summary: The Low Voltage Technician will specialize in the maintenance and repair of commercial security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and IT network infrastructure/servers. This Low Voltage Technician requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in video surveillance systems and access control systems, including intrusion detection systems.
Skills: High awareness of job site safety protocols and strict adherence to Benson’s safety standards underscore a commitment to a secure working environment. Excels in analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving tasks, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions.
Background Check: Must pass a background check with no DUI or domestic violence records, as some work may be on Federal Property and Military Reservations.
Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
