Build the technical foundation from scratch, including a data platform and AI-native architecture for a used industrial equipment marketplace. Conduct fast experiments to validate the business model and eventually lead the technical direction as a co-founder.
Proven experience shipping B2B products from zero to one and a willingness to be hands-on with customer acquisition. Fluency in English is required, with a preference for candidates with founding experience or a network in industrial machinery.

We are looking for a technical co-founder to join one of our pre-seed ventures, fixing how used industrial equipment is bought and sold in Europe. Today pricing and sourcing often happen through phone calls, gut feel, or Excel. Machines worth six figures get valued by whoever knows someone. The plan: aggregate sourcing and valuation signals from multiple data sources, and test demand through step-by-step experiments before building the full platform.
Be aware of the stage. This venture is in validation. There is no company yet. You join Beam, and we found the company together once validation holds. If that makes you nervous, this is not the right role.
You have shipped B2B products from zero to one and built scrappy things real users have touched
You will help win the first paying customers, not just listen in on the calls
You can build something credible from thin data
You are fine throwing code away when it is not moving us forward
You say "I don't know" out loud
Founding experience or a network in industrial machinery or supply chain is a plus
Fluent English required, German a strong plus
Build the technical side from zero: data platform, AI-native scalable architecture, and the first product customers pay for
Run fast experiments with your co-founder and talk to stakeholders across the used equipment market
Once validation holds: co-found the company, own technical direction, hire your team
Access to BEUMER Group's industrial customers and live equipment projects
4,000 EUR/month gross during validation
If the startup reaches go-to-market, Beam's funding committee secures minimum 18 months runway after every round
Network of experts, advisors, and mentors across intralogistics, industrial tech, and marketplace building
