The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions. They are responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana. A minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health care is preferred, along with Basic Life Support and non-violent crisis intervention certifications.

What does the Nurse do? (including but not limited to)
As a Nurse, you are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including taking vital signs, administering medications, preparing patients for exams, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures, educating patients on self-care, and documenting patient information thoroughly; all while maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team and patients.
