The Manufacturing Engineer will drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost through process optimization and capital expenditure projects. They will act as a liaison between design engineering and operations while implementing lean manufacturing principles across the facility.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering and three to five years of related experience. Proficiency in lean methodologies, CAD software, and strong analytical and communication skills are required.
The Manufacturing Engineer will act as a change agent focused on driving improvements in efficiencies, quality, and cost through process improvements, technological advancements, and capital expenditures. This individual will champion and execute continuous improvement efforts in a manner that achieves buy-in from team members and facilitates effective and lasting change, using engineering and continuous improvement tools such as Tiered Visual Management Boards (SQDC Boards), A3 thinking, and root-cause corrective action.
This role will be based out of Phillips, Wisconsin.
The Manufacturing Engineer primarily works in an indoor environment. May be exposed to shop elements and at customer sites as required.
This is a regular, full-time position with frequent overtime. All candidates must be willing to work overtime.
Travel:
Some travel is expected for this position and may require extended stays. Anticipated travel is less than 10% between BWP-WI Facilities.
