Lead the implementation of large-scale production processes and capital projects to transfer proprietary manufacturing technology from Switzerland to America. Oversee the design, construction, and qualification of GMP laboratories, cleanrooms, and plant expansions while leading cross-functional teams.
Requires a degree in engineering, science, or business with significant experience (up to 15+ years depending on degree level) and at least 8 years in the pharma/biotech industry. Must have deep knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing methods, and technical expertise in utilities and batch processing.
The Sr. Engineering Project Manager leads the implementation of large‑scale production processes and equipment at Bachem, applying best‑practice project management methodologies to capital projects. This role oversees system start‑up activities and ensures that engineers and operations staff are fully trained to operate and troubleshoot new equipment effectively.
Base salary range: $126,317 - $173,686
Placement of new hires in this wage range is based on several factors including education, skill sets, experience, and training.
