Rail unloaders are responsible for safely off-loading vehicles from rail cars and shuttling them within the yard. They must also perform equipment inspections, manage bridge plates, and ensure all inventory is scanned and parked correctly.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of heavy labor experience. A valid full G driver's license and the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions are required.

Summary of Position:
AWC Operations Canada (AWCC) performs many logistics functions. Some of these are real time yard management, real time data transfers, real time vehicle direct locating, dealer delivery, import / export preparations, rail car preparation and switching, rail car loading and unloading, and extensive assembly plant operations.
Rail Unloaders are responsible for off-loading vehicles from bi-level and/or tri-level rail cars, as well as shuttling vehicles within the AWCC yard.
