Responsibilities

The assembler is responsible for setting up and operating power wheel assembly centers while maintaining electric hand tools. They must also accurately interpret blueprints and perform mathematical computations to ensure product quality.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in heavy industrial assembly. Proficiency in reading blueprints, using precision gauges, and basic computer skills like Microsoft Office is preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate power wheel assembly centers
  • Use and maintain electric hand tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
  • Read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
  • Accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy industrial assembly, preferred
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, preferred
  • Experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers, preferred
  • Experience using hydraulic & pneumatic presses, torque guns, and hoists, preferred
  • Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
