Responsible for performing high-quality X-ray imaging of patients for diagnostic purposes as directed by a Radiologist. Duties include maintaining equipment, obtaining patient histories, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Requires graduation from an accredited radiography school and a valid NJ State Radiologic Technologist license. Candidates must hold ARRT certification and BLS certification, with 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Generates high-quality images of patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment. Prepares and maintains records and files as directed
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
2. Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
3. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
4. Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
5. Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
