Responsibilities
Provide clinical support by assisting providers with patient examinations and maintaining sterile treatment rooms. Manage patient assessments, medical documentation, and general clinic administrative operations.
Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or one year of specific job experience. Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days and a Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire.
Clinical Support: Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
Patient Assessment: Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
Documentation & Transcription: Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
Practice Operations: Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
