Responsible for financially screening patients, verifying insurance eligibility, and managing billing and payment collections. Duties include posting charges, balancing daily payment batches, and ensuring charge accuracy for patient encounters.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years of medical billing experience. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC codes.

Arroyo Vista is affiliated with universities and serves as a clinical training center for medical residents and nurse practitioners. With four locations and a mobile clinic serving every member of the community, Arroyo Vista Family Health Center provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, imaging, and pharmaceutical services. Our services are designed for all ages, from infants and children, to teens, adults, and the elderly. Many of our doctors, nurses, and administrative staff come from the local community, and many of us – including our board members – are also patients of Arroyo Vista.
