Are Media New Zealand is looking for an experienced content creator to lead beauty editorial across some of the country's most loved and trusted brands, including Woman's Day and New Zealand Woman's Weekly.
This rare, part-time opportunity is for someone who knows their retinol from their retinal and their peptides from their ceramides. Someone who understands that beauty is equal parts science, culture and storytelling—and knows how to transform all three into compelling, credible and commercially smart content.
You'll be across every platform that matters. From authoritative print features and expert-led beauty advice to social-first content that stops the scroll and digital storytelling that builds meaningful engagement. You'll know how to spot emerging trends, identify what audiences genuinely care about, and create content that informs, inspires and delivers results.
We're looking for a highly organised content creator with exceptional attention to detail. In an industry where trust and accuracy matter, you'll be meticulous in your approach and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
You'll also bring strong commercial awareness, understanding how editorial excellence, audience growth and brand partnerships work together to create value. You will be innovative with content ideas and use audience insights to refine and strengthen your editorial approach.
This is a unique opportunity to shape beauty content at scale, working across an iconic portfolio of brands with loyal audiences and significant influence. You'll help define how Kiwi women discover, understand and experience beauty—while working alongside some of the industry's most talented content creators.
