As the company evolves, we are now looking for a Tech & AI Solutions Lead to strengthen the way technology supports our business. Together with our Transformation Lead, you will become the core of Areim's innovation hub, with responsibilities spanning from our data platform to AI and automation initiatives and the overall systems perspective.
About the role
As Tech & AI Solutions Lead, you will play a key role in Areim Forward Studio, understanding our system landscape, and seeing how different solutions affect the business and create value over time. You work closely and in continuous dialogue with the business, management and external partners across various initiatives.
Among your responsibilities, you will define the requirements and drive development of our data platform, which is already underway, while gradually building up more knowledge and ownership within Areim. You drive AI and automation initiatives across the entire business, applying your technical expertise to evaluate, test and prioritise opportunities. Today we have no internal development team; technical implementation is largely carried out together with external consultants and partners.
In this role, you will:
• Take overall technical ownership of our system landscape and contribute to decisions on what we should buy, build or simplify
• Define requirements, challenge and validate solution proposals from external consultants and suppliers
• Establish principles for architecture, integrations, governance and security
• Co-lead our AI and automation forum with our Transformation Lead
Who we are looking for
You have at least 5 years of experience within software, platform or data engineering or similar, and have since grown into a broader technical role with involvement in AI and automation initiatives. You are motivated by working closely with the business and delivering solutions that create real impact.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:
• Has a good understanding of solution architecture, integrations, data management and governance in a larger system landscape
• Has been involved in building a modern data platform, either hands-on or as the person technically responsible
• Has experience of AI and automation: assessing use cases, understanding technical possibilities and limitations, testing solutions and driving implementation
• Has experience of managing and overseeing external suppliers and consultants
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
Meriting:
• Experience in finance, asset management, real estate or another capital-intensive environment
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and related tools such as Power BI and Purview
