Provide non-clinical peer support and motivation to patients in the Emergency Department struggling with alcohol and drug dependency. Assist patients in developing service plans and linking them to community treatment services and support networks.
Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of three years of demonstrated personal recovery and sustained abstinence from substance use. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations in a healthcare setting.
