Responsibilities

The role is responsible for achieving sales quotas by selling recovery audit services to existing and prospective clients. This includes managing complex solution sales, developing marketing plans, and maintaining sales forecasts.

Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and over 5 years of B2B experience selling to senior leaders in finance, accounting, or procurement. Experience in Procure to Pay (P2P) or financial services and proficiency in complex sales methodologies are required.

Quick Take:

The Sales Executive, Audit Services, is responsible for the achievement of sales and client goals in the assigned territory. This role will be leading and managing complex solution sales. The desired candidate will possess strong experience selling financial solutions and consulting services to Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Procurement departments, ideally within large organizations. This candidate will exhibit passion, enthusiasm, and self-motivation to succeed. 

This role will cover territory in the Mid-Western United States (MI, MN, IL, WI, etc.). The position can be done remotely from the U.S., with a strong preference for someone based in the Midwest or within the Central Time Zone (CST).

 

The Work:

  • Achieves assigned sales quota through direct selling of recovery audit services to existing customers and prospects.
  • Identifies potential customers and implements plan to secure their business.
  • Lead and manage complex services sales
  • Develop and execute field level marketing plans to build sales pipeline
  • Prepares RFPs as required.
  • Develops and maintains sales forecasts on anticipated sales.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and sales activity.
  • Promotes satisfactory customer relations.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with company personnel to secure new business.
  • Keeps informed on company contract procedures and pricing.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing MillerHeimen, Siebel/Strategic Selling or other complex, consultative solution sales methodology required. 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Power Messaging a plus 

 

 

The Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years selling to senior leaders and stakeholders within Accounting, Finance, Financial Shared Services, Internal Audit, Supply Chain, and Procurement departments (B2B).
  • Experience in the Procure to Pay (P2P) or financial services space.
  • Be open to travel.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
