The IT Security Manager develops and manages the organization's information security strategy, policies, and controls to ensure data confidentiality and integrity. This includes overseeing security operations, leading incident response, and managing compliance initiatives like SOC2 and GDPR.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3-5 years of IT security experience, including at least one year in management. Proficiency in cloud security (Azure, AWS), security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and IAM systems is required.
The IT Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s information security strategy, systems, policies, and controls. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems, data, and infrastructure while balancing business objectives and risk.
The manager works with a team of engineers, oversees compliance initiatives, and coordinates incident response across all business units.
