Candidates must hold a QQI Level 7 or higher qualification in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills, is essential.

Primary Function:
This key role will support growing services and offerings to the Renewable Energy sector. Working with other team members, you will ensure that effective processes are identified to fault-find problems or failures and resolve them in high-value electrical/electronic control units.
Major Responsibilities:
Analyse and repair Faulty Power units and control systems
Ensure Customer Product is repaired/upgraded in an appropriate time frame
Work with other team members to ensure economical and effective repair and test of units.
Liaise with other departments to ensure that bought-in components or services are available as required
Ensure that all activities are performed in a manner that ensures safety of all personnel
Working with other team members, ensure that all necessary performance testing and reporting is performed
Preparation & presentation of reports as required
Support Ongoing Test Activities:
Support the organization in ensuring that all test equipment is fully operational
Support the organization through feedback on developed incremental test processes
Essential Skills/Experience:
Ability to perform test operations in an effective manner
Ability to work with cross functional teams, but also self-motivated
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work as an excellent team player is essential
Excellent attention to detail and focus on high quality output
Strong communications skills, both written and spoken
A good knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics
A good knowledge of microprocessors, memory devices, etc. would be an advantage
Experience gained in an Electronics manufacturing / service function would be an advantage
Experience/capability to assist the development of basic product test methods and procedures
Qualification:
Third level qualification (QQI Level 7 or higher) in Electronic Engineering or relevant combination of education and experience.
