The Director will serve as the primary finance partner to the Commercial organization, providing strategic insights and financial leadership to drive profitable growth. They will lead annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning while developing robust financial models to support commercial decision-making.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and over 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or commercial finance within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industries. Strong expertise in financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and the ability to influence senior leadership are essential requirements for this role.

Amylyx is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director, Commercial FP&A to serve as the primary finance partner to the Commercial organization. This role will provide financial leadership, business insights, and decision support that drive profitable growth while ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
As a key member of the Finance team, the Director will partner closely with Commercial, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to develop financial plans, evaluate strategic investments, support revenue guidance, and enhance decision-making across the organization. This individual will play a critical role in helping the company scale its commercial operations by delivering robust forecasting, performance analytics, and actionable insights into key business drivers.
This is an exciting time to serve as a key partner to the Commercial organization—helping prepare for launch and support execution through launch and commercialization.
We anticipate hiring the Director, FP&A - Commercial in September 2026
MBA and/or CPA preferred
