The Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various company equipment, vehicles, and trailers. They also provide mechanical instruction to operators and ensure all work complies with safety standards and administrative procedures.
Candidates must possess a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic/Journeyman certification and a valid Class 5 driver's license. The role requires the ability to work in a 24/7 cycle environment and travel throughout Western Canada.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Ensuring safety is a priority, Heavy Duty Mechanics work in a team environment to carry out inspections, observation and reporting of the condition and mechanical repairs/maintenance required to all equipment, vehicles, trailers and miscellaneous equipment as well as work in the field to observe operators and operating condition of the equipment maintenance procedures, daily inspections and log books.
