Integrate intelligence collection, analysis, and targeting capabilities into Department of Defense operational planning efforts. Support the development of campaign plans and crisis management documents while collaborating across organizational boundaries.
Requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Candidates must have at least 8 years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, including working knowledge of JOPES.
Intelligence doesn't support operations by accident. Someone has to build the bridge between what the IC can collect and analyze and what commanders actually need to plan and execute. As an Intelligence Planner supporting DIA, you'll integrate Defense and National intelligence capabilities, collection, analysis, and targeting, into operational planning across the Department of Defense. When a campaign plan comes together or a crisis breaks, your work is what makes intelligence show up on time and on target. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.
Location: National Capital Region (NCR)
Work Schedule: 0600 and 1800 – 8 hours M-F
