The Aircraft Mechanic III performs maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on LUH-72 helicopters, including the removal and installation of major subsystems. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate aircraft logs, records, and ensuring all work adheres to technical manuals and safety protocols.
Candidates must possess a valid A&P license, a high school diploma, and at least five years of aviation maintenance experience with rotary-wing aircraft. Additionally, applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust security clearance and provide their own tools.
