The Senior Network Engineer provides senior-level engineering for Cisco-based WAN/LAN infrastructure and oversees a technical team to ensure performance and compliance. They are responsible for maintaining network security, implementing best practices, and providing 24/7 on-call support.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and possess at least five years of experience with mission-critical Cisco networks. Additionally, applicants must hold specific certifications like CISSP or CCNP Security and be able to obtain a US Secret Government Clearance.
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for providing senior engineering for Cisco-based WAN/LAN; oversees technical team; implements best practices; maintaining network infrastructure and security while ensuring successful performance and compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), Program, USG, and international requirements and guidelines. Ensures compliance with standard management practices including but not limited to monitoring, records keeping, report preparation, training, inspections, data reporting, etc. Will perform other duties as assigned.
The Senior Network Engineer will be available for on-call support as needed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week in this role.
Requirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be able to meet all medical, security, and deployment requirements associated with assignment to a remote overseas location.
