The technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. They must also maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and ensure the department remains organized and stocked.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of sterile processing experience and hold a CRCST or CSPDT certification. Strong knowledge of sterilization methods and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are required.
