WHAT WILL YOU DO.
This individual is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results, in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months of related experience is preferred.
Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.

Alverno has been providing outreach laboratory services in the northern Indiana communities since the laboratory was originally built in 1999. In addition to the more than 350 laboratory professionals at the Hammond facility and over 2,100 laboratory professionals system wide, Pathology Consultants, Inc. has five full time M.D. Pathologists providing anatomic pathology service and medical directorship at the central laboratory and about twenty pathologists throughout the Alverno system. The Alverno central laboratory became ISO 15189:2012 certified in 2015. We are proud of this accomplishment and credit our exceptional employees for achieving this certification.
