Candidates must hold a degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Process Engineering, with a preference for a PhD and at least 2 years of experience or a Master's with 8 years of experience. Strong technical understanding of parenteral manufacturing and proficiency in both German and English are required.

In dieser Roll arbeitest Du gemeinsam mit einem exzellent ausgebildeten, hochmotivierten Team von Wissenschaftlern an der Entwicklung von Herstellungsprozessen für parenterale biotechnologische Arzneimittel und an einigen von AbbVies wichtigsten Pipeline-Projekten (z.B. monoklonalen Antikörpern, Antikörper-Wirkstoff-Konjugaten und neuartigen Molekültypen). Du bist Experte für ausgewählte Fachthemen im Bereich Prozessentwicklung und entwickelst dafür Standardansätze nach neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen weiter. Du wirst Teil eines hochqualifizierten, engagierten Teams in PaMS.
Konkret bedeutet das:
Wissenschaftliche und fachliche Leitung der Entwicklung von Herstellprozessen für neue parenterale Arzneimittel als projektverantwortlicher Process Lead (speziell flüssige Darreichungsformen biotechnologisch hergestellter Wirkstoffe in Vials, Spritzen oder Cartridges sowie Lyophilisate) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams
Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von wissenschaftlich-technisch fundierten Laborexperimenten sowie Herstellung technischer Chargen zur Prozess- und Produktentwicklung
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der R&D Prozessentwicklung zur Übernahme von Produkten und Prozessen aus der frühen klinischen Entwicklungsphase
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Herstellstandorten und Projektteams sowie Vor-Ort-Unterstützung als Prozessexperte beim Transfer der Herstellprozesse zu kommerziellen Herstellungsstandorten (initialer und kommerzieller Transfer). Außerdem Bereitstellung von Vorschläge zur Prozessoptimierung sowie Unterstützung bei späteren Prozessanpassungen
Erarbeitung von Standardansätzen für die Prozessentwicklung unter wissenschaftlichen, regulatorischen und prozessökonomischen Gesichtspunkten, dabei Abstimmung gemeinsamer Ansätze in der globalen Organisation
Sicherstellung der wissenschaftlichen Exzellenz der Entwicklungsansätze und Herstellprozesse und Repräsentation im internen und externen Arbeitsumfeld
Repräsentation und Vertretung der Projekte im internen und externen Arbeitsumfeld
Mitarbeit bei der Automatisierung von Arbeitsprozessen und Digitalisierung der Datenverarbeitung innerhalb der Arbeitsgruppe
Sicherstellung einer Good Scientific Practices (GSP) bzw. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)- konformen Dokumentation sowie Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung regulatorischer Zulassungsdokumente
Verantwortlichkeit für definierte Geräte im Laborbereich von PaMS, Sicherstellung der erforderlichen Wartung, Dokumentation und Benutzerschulungen
Mitarbeit bei der Einarbeitung von neuen Mitarbeitenden, Betreuung von Praktikant/innen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten

Qualifications
