Supervise and coordinate subordinate supervisors to ensure all operational procedures and protocols are followed. Manage day-to-day activities including recruitment, employee evaluations, patient safety implementation, and customer complaint resolution.
Requires a High School Diploma, DSHS Paramedic certification, and at least 2 years of EMS supervisory experience. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and meet rigorous physical requirements for field operations.
SUMMARY: The responsibilities of the District Chief of Operations is to supervise and coordinate with
subordinate supervisors to ensure that all procedures and protocols are being followed. Specific duties
will vary as needs arise.
The District Chief of Operations must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to
organize team members and implement direction per the District Manager. A wide degree of experience,
which may be attained by work experience in various roles, is helpful in aiding the District Chief in the
specific complexities of managing the assigned areas of operation. Excellent arbitration and
organizational skills are also necessary for satisfactory performance.
