The IoT Systems Integration Engineer acts as the bridge between the cloud platform and physical telematics hardware by configuring, testing, and integrating devices. They are responsible for troubleshooting connectivity issues, developing configuration scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful hardware deployments.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in IoT or embedded systems. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and hardware diagnostic tools is required, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Description
The IoT Systems Integration Engineer serves as the critical link between AlignOps' cloud platform and the physical IoT and telematics devices used across construction fleets. This role evaluates, configures, tests, and integrates connected hardware while partnering with Engineering and Hardware Logistics to ensure reliable device performance, seamless deployments, and successful hardware integrations. Success in this role requires a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working directly with hardware, troubleshooting complex device issues, and improving operational processes.

This is a full-time in-office position located in Indianapolis, IN. The individual hired is expected to be located in this region. Employees hired within a designated radius of the office are expected to work on-site according to a schedule set by management based on the requirements of their role.
