The Director of Staff Development will provide orientation and educational opportunities to ensure staff possess the necessary skills for safe and effective care. They will also monitor nursing activities for regulatory compliance and oversee the infection prevention and control program.
Candidates must hold a current LPN/LVN license and have at least two years of experience providing direct care to multiple residents. Knowledge of nursing regulations and adult learning principles is required, with infection prevention certification preferred.

As a Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN), you will provide the necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment that will assist staff in gaining the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to perform assigned duties safely and effectively. You will monitor the activities of nursing staff to ensure the quality of care complies with state, federal, and corporate standards. Additionally, you will direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.
