The technician is responsible for performing railcar repairs and maintenance in compliance with FRA and AAR standards. They must interpret work orders, maintain accurate repair records, and ensure all safety and quality guidelines are followed.
Candidates must have high school level English proficiency and basic mechanical skills, including the ability to read blueprints and use welding tools. The role requires physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and around heavy industrial equipment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
A Railcar Repair Technician at this facility will be responsible for all aspects of railcar repair and maintenance. The team members must be able to read and understand blueprints, make car repairs in compliance with FRA and AAR rules and keep good repair records. As well as ensuring all company guidelines, quality assurance and safety rules are followed and met while performing job duties.
