What You’ll Do: As an HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll dive deep into Air Wise’s policies and procedures, leveraging your knowledge to support the sales team and expand our market presence. Your role will be dynamic, allowing you to work both independently and collaboratively with a talented team of engineers.

Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Analyze project requirements for custom HVAC equipment
- Select and size components such as fans, burners, and coils to achieve the necessary performance
- Create CAD layout drawings and prepare shop drawing packages for customer approval
- Create wiring schematics to allow the equipment to operate as required
- Coordinate and execute requested changes to the design as required
- Support the manufacturing process and assist in troubleshooting any problems that occur
- Promote teamwork and good company morale, mentor and knowledge share with teammates
- Conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- 1 year experience with HVAC/air handling units strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
- Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and specifications
- Self-motivated and organized
- Attention to detail
