Provide comprehensive housekeeping and linen services to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for patients and families. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms after discharge and maintaining nursing units, surgical areas, and public spaces.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and at least one year of housekeeping experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to use cleaning supplies and equipment according to safety regulations.
Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered. Routinely cleans patient’s rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients. Also may clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms and other areas as assigned. Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility. Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention. Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
