The Nurse Tech performs direct patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provides continuous cardiac monitoring from the telemetry room. They are responsible for non-invasive procedures and may perform phlebotomy if competencies are completed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant course, or equivalent nursing school progress. At least six months of recent hospital or long-term care experience is required.

Nurse Tech – RN New Grad:
Performs direct patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures, unless competencies are completed in phlebotomy. Position provides continuous cardiac monitoring of patients from the telemetry room.
