This position reports to the Director of Emergency Services and has initial oversight and staff scheduling for the department. Provides leadership for the department and assists with direction in achieving service growth and achievement. Assists in the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel, and maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services. Assists director to assure that HC AHPS, patient, employee, and physicians satisfaction scores are all in acceptable ranges and improving. Assures department is Survey ready at all times, including nursing documentation, facility, and all National Patient Safety Goals.
Qualifications
Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
Current Calif. RN license
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BLS and ACLS (AHA current on hire)
PALS or NRP (current or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty
CPI is required within 30 days of hire
