The Account is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, timely collections and payments, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
· Reconcile and manage various clearing accounts, balance sheet account reconciliation and ensure accurate bank reconciliations.
· Prepare and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging reports.
· Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts where applicable.
· Prepare journal entries, accruals, tax reports and other accounting adjustments as required.
· Good understanding of (and support) the end-to-end month-end close process in a multi-entity corporate environment.
· Support financial projects and initiatives (e.g., system implementations, process optimization, automation).
· Accurately manage fixed assets and operational accounting (projects, profit centers, internal orders, and cost center accounting).
· Collaborate with procurement, operations and vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.
· Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation.
· Assist your manager with other daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities.
Qualifications and Experience
· University degree in Business Administration, finance or accounting.
· Minimum of 2 years of total experience.
· Professional experience in accounting according to IFRS is a plus
· Advanced knowledge of SAP FI/CO is essential.
· Advanced in English (written and spoken) is essential.
