Lead the integration of intelligent building systems, including building automation systems (BAS/BMS), access control, CCTV, intercom, nurse call, fire alarm interfaces, lighting controls, audiovisual systems, digital signage, wireless networks, RTLS, asset tracking, and other connected technologies.
Develop integration strategies and coordinate communication protocols, interface requirements, system ownership, cybersecurity considerations, network architecture, and interoperability between multiple technology platforms.
Collaborate with architects, electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil consultants, client IT departments, contractors, vendors, facility operators, and other project stakeholders to deliver fully coordinated technology solutions.
Coordinate infrastructure requirements including equipment space, power distribution, emergency power, UPS systems, cooling requirements, redundancy, grounding, environmental considerations, and network resiliency.
Review shop drawings, equipment submittals, contractor documentation, testing reports, commissioning documentation, and project close-out records to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Participate in site reviews, construction administration, integrated systems testing, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance to engineers, designers, and technologists, while promoting consistency and technical excellence across projects.
Identify design risks, coordination challenges, scope gaps, and opportunities for improved project delivery, supporting project managers in resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with proposal development, fee estimates, project planning, client presentations, and business development activities, representing AES Technology as a trusted technical advisor.
Our Must Haves:
