The role involves supporting ground investigations, interpretations, and geotechnical designs across transport, water, energy, and development projects. Key tasks include performing risk assessments for landslides and mining, and producing technical drawings and design reports.
Candidates must hold a BSc/MSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, or Earth Science, and possess a clean driving license. Familiarity with Eurocode and British Standards is required, while progress toward Chartered Geologist status is advantageous.

We are searching for a Engineering Geologist to join us here at AECOM within our Ground Engineering team. You will be responsible for supporting investigations, interpretation and design across transport, water, energy and development projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a individual looking to gain broad exposures to ground investigation, geohazard assessment and geotechnical design, with structured support, mentoring and progression.
