Requires current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of post-registration experience. Candidates should have a strong understanding of cardiothoracic procedures and full Australian working rights.

What you will be doing in this role
As a Registered Nurse on Kress 5 Ward, you’ll be an integral part of our caring team, providing expert, compassionate care to patients undergoing recovery from heart and lung surgeries, as well as other cardiac and medically related conditions. You’ll work a flexible mix of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and a combination of morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll have the support and guidance you need to thrive in a dynamic, patient-centred environment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our patients’ safety, comfort, and recovery, all while building meaningful connections with them and their families.
Kress 5 Ward is a 24-bed unit specialising in Cardiothoracic care, where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team across three dedicated cardiac areas. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to be part of a close-knit team where ongoing education and professional development are strongly encouraged. With a focus on collaboration and continuous learning, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in the Cardiac specialty while making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
