Deliver person-centered nursing care by collaborating with healthcare teams and educating residents and their families. Responsibilities include planning and documenting care, administering medications, and assisting physicians during procedures.
Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana and possess BLS/CPR certification. Experience in senior living nursing is preferred, and the candidate must be available for one weekend per month.
The RN or LPN plays a vital role in delivering person-centered nursing care by collaborating with the healthcare team and engaging in resident and family education. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during procedures, conducting patient tests, and administering medications as permitted. The Staff Nurse fosters an environment of safety and comfort while promoting patient independence through goal-setting and teaching self-care skills related to their conditions and medications, all in alignment with the mission of Adams Health and nursing standards.
