The RN or LPN plays a vital role in delivering person-centered nursing care by collaborating with the healthcare team and engaging in resident and family education. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during procedures, conducting patient tests, and administering medications as permitted. The Staff Nurse fosters an environment of safety and comfort while promoting patient independence through goal-setting and teaching self-care skills related to their conditions and medications, all in alignment with the mission of Adams Health and nursing standards.
